Ark Disclaimer: This is not meant to be a definitive all-encompassing Poet guide, but instead a guide to one buff poet's playstyle. ----- First things first push Shift + F11: 1) Tab, Vswap:ON - This should appear in the status box to the right. The reason for this is functionality with tab as it is not very easy to push Ctrl + Tab. With this mode the first and easiest thing to learn is the Tab aspect. TAB KEY: THIS IS USED FOR MAIN HEALING TARGET OF GROUP -Tab will give you a dark blue box around a target. You can use your arrow keys to move the box. If you click a target while this moveable box is active, you will just select a target with the blue box, it will disappear and you will be viewing that target's mob name or player info on the right side. -Once you have moved the Dark blue box to your Main Healing Target, press tab 1 more time to lock it on to them. Or if you clicked your target and the box disappeared, press tab 2 times to lock on. -When the Dark box is locked onto the target and will not move with arrow keys or disappear, you can use your healing macros from F11 to heal the target to the desired vita. -Pushing Escape will make the box disappear so you can go back to target spells, ie press Heal + Enter targeting. IMPORTANT: It is always recommended to keep this box on your main healing target. You can cast HB while healing using this blue box. CTRL+V: THIS IS USED FOR HEALING YOURSELF MAINLY -Ctrl+V will put a light blue box on yourself. This box is just like the locked on dark blue box for Tab. -Once the light blue box is on yourself, you can cast invoke and heal, or just heal yourself if HB failed. -If you are in this mode and push V again or push Shift+V you will see that it changes targets. This can seem efficient to get to people and in smaller groups is, but there are easier ways to target multiple members we will cover later. -Pressing escape will make the light blue box disappear and you can go back to target spells, ie Heal + Enter targeting. Tips: When you are using Ctrl+V or V targeting, you can quickly jump back to your main healing target by pressing tab 3 times and start healing. You can cast HB while healing using this light blue box. V: THIS IS USED FOR USING DAMAGING SPELLS ON ENEMIES, ie Scourge -V when pressed in a room of players will only show a light blue box just like Ctrl+V. -V when pressed in a room with mobs present will display a red/orangeish box. -Pushing V or Shift+V another time will cause it to move to another enemy. -When the box is on an enemy, you can push your scourge macro from F11 and it will scourge the target. -You can still triple press tab, or press ctrl+v to access the other boxes in this mode. IMPORTANT: Pushing Ctrl+V in this mode will swap it back to a light blue box. You can push escape and V again to get back to scourging, or just Ctrl+V and it will change the light blue box to the red box when mobs are present. Tip: Sometimes mobs that die with the red box or rogues with the dark blue/light blue box will cause the box to break. If you were scourging or healing you will be forced back to target healing and will have a normal target box on a target. Click, press enter or hit escape to close the normal spell targeting box and push V again to get back to scourging. You can cast HB while scourging or zapping using this red box. These are some important ways to target multiple things quickly in nexus and muscle memory will only make you better. | |
